Mary-Jo Mantz is a head designer at Lawrence Mayer Interiors. She holds a degree in Interior Design from Becker College in Worcester, Ma and joined the interior design firm in 1985.
Mary-Jo’s broad design experience, exceptional talent, professionalism and polished approach, as an interior designer in NJ, is apparent in her continual ability to offer a wide variety of design concepts to new and long term clients. From traditional, today’s contemporary, transitional, sophisticated beach to exotic, Mary-Jo works in all styles. She says “I love the diversity of the Interior design field, working on different interiors, dealing with a variety of clients, personalities and styles – this makes it all so interesting. I make sure that every client’s style is reflected in the final result and that it is timeless.”

Marjorie Warga is one of the head interior designers in NJ at Lawrence Mayer Interiors. She has been with the interior design firm since 2001 and has established a large client following. Her love of fine art, architecture and her own artistic abilities inspired her degree and career in Interior Design.
Margie’s relaxed approach, her ability to interpret and renew design has afforded her a client base as diverse as the genres she works in. Her keen ability to read her clients makes the project seamless from concept to finish
Margie has earned multiple publications features and recognition in Design NJ magazine, NY Magazine, New York Spaces Magazine, Ensemble Benjamin Moore National Publication, Savvy Living Magazine, and various local and regional newspapers and has extensive showing on the prestigious Houzz Website.
Meghan Dobish has been a head designer at Lawrence Mayer Interiors for almost 20 years. She began her career after graduating from Parsons School of Design and working with several notable firms in New York, including Victoria Hagan Inc.
Meghan came to Lawrence Mayer in 2002 with the intention of creating designs that would reflect her clients’ individual taste and aesthetics. Since then she has been privileged to work with a wonderful clientele who have entrusted her to create their dream spaces all over the east coast. From blueprints to the final accessory, her work is strategic and well planned, allowing even the busiest clients the ability to make decisions effortlessly. From classic coastal to modern urban, Meghan enjoys creating an environment that reflects the unique style and taste of each client; but always present in her designs are a modern sensibility and practicality- an approach that is greatly influenced by her busy young family. She firmly believes that good design should enhance the experience of our everyday lives.
Meghan is NCIDQ licensed. Her work has been featured in Design NJ magazine, New York Spaces, the various other publications.
Jennifer Karwan is a head interior designer at Lawrence Mayer Interiors. Jennifer holds a bachelor of science degree in Interior Design from Drexel University.
As an interior designer in NJ, Jennifer began her career in 1997 with ICA Designs in Millburn, NJ where she designed several high-end Residential homes in North Jersey. Jennifer then advanced her talent to designing kitchens with European Country Kitchens out of Far Hills, NJ. She Joined Lawrence Mayer Interiors in 2005.
Jennifer’s designs reflect classic yet personable living spaces. With each project, Jennifer creates enjoyable and unique environments that reflect the personalities and styles of each of her clients.
Jennifer has participated in the Montclair and Morristown, NJ “Mansions in May” Showhouses featured in Design, NJ Her work has been featured in Design NJ, New York Spaces and Savvy Living.
With over 15 years’ experience as an interior designer in NJ, Sandie Gershenfeld, head designer at Lawrence Mayer Interiors, holds a Master’s of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University.
As an interior designer, Sandie works closely with her clients to create beautiful interiors that reflect their personal style. Her talent and ability to offer a broad range of design concepts to her clients is impressive.
While traveling abroad Sandie developed a keen interest in architecture and interiors that continue to inspire her today. Her ability to create carefully designed floor plans, selection of furnishings and fabric and development of color schemes allow her to continually surprise and delight her clients. She ensures inspired design from conception to completion. Her clients best describe Sandie’s style as casually elegant and welcoming with a timeless sensibility. Sandie’s interior design work has been featured in DesignNJ Magazine.
