Easily Transform Your Home Into a Christmas Wonderland

Everyone’s favorite time is here and it’s not too late to get your home ready for the holiday season. This is actually our absolute favorite time of year to work with our clients to get their homes holiday-ready. There are so many fun directions you can go in so we are here to provide some tips for decorating your home this Christmas season.

It’s time to remove all our fall décor and move in with white lights and garland. First, we want to focus on the living room, which is typically the focal point when families gather during the holiday season. Above the fireplace we can line the garland and hang some lovely holiday-colored stockings. Add your classic Christmas tree with simple yet classy ornaments. The classic colors of Christmas are red and green, but we can keep it timeless with silvers and golds! Add Christmas themed throw pillows and blankets along the couch to make it extra cozy! Displaying wrapped presents under or around your tree adds that homey Christmas feel.

The kitchen and dining room are two of the most important rooms in the house! It’s where meals are made, laughs are shared, and family comes together. When decorating the kitchen, displaying Christmas-themed baked goods adds a beautiful decorative touch. Switch out your fall colored oven towels with red and green or white and gold. Get a clear glass jar and place red ornaments inside to create a beautiful centerpiece. Topping off your center island with multiple glass jars is both an easy and elegant look. For your dining table, you can add garland in the middle and then keep it classy by adding gold ornaments on top as well as tall white candles. There is so much you can do with this space!

One of the most important parts of Christmas is decorating the outside of your home. Lights, lights, lights! White lights will keep your house classy and timeless. Outline your home with white lights as well as some trees, but still keeping it simple. Line your windows with garland and red bows. Add a pine wreath to your front door to tie it all together. Keep it simple and beautiful. Everyone wants to be the most beautiful house on the block, and with these tips, you can!

The holiday season is here and we’ve compiled these tips for you!
